Hereford
Cathedral Services can be found at 55 St
Owen Street. We are only one minute walk
from both the Town Hall and the Shire
Hall, three minutes walk from Hereford
Cathedral and one minute from the
Registrar's Office in the Town Hall. |

As a leading, independent funeral parlour
we provide: Pre-Payment Plans,
Headstones, Flowers, Black Horse Drawn
Carriages, Custom Built Coffins, Painted
or American Style Caskets. |

We undertake services for all religious
denominations and for those of no faith. |

We offer advice and assistance to those
who need help when funds are not readily
available. |

Patrick Walesby and Malcolm
Scobie are the proprietors of
Cathedral Funeral Services (Hereford)
Limited. Our Funeral Home is independent
of any major funeral corporations and
Patrick Walesby is the only fully
elected member of The National Society
of Independent Funeral Directors in the
whole of Herefordshire. |

We welcome visitors to our premises to
view the Chapel of Rest which can seat
fifteen people comfortably. (The Chapel
is dedicated to St Benedict and St
Ethelbert King and Martyr.) You may
choose to hold a small private service
instead of booking a church or rushing
to arrange your service at the
Crematorium. The Chapel can also be used
by people who do not wish to hold a
religious service and who wish to say
farewell to loved ones in their own
personal way. |

Our services include:- |

Provision of the funeral
director's services.
Attending to all the necessary
arrangements liaising with
ministers, doctors, cemeteries,
crematorium, hospitals, coroners
etc..
Full uniformed staff
on the day of the funeral and
throughout the performance of
our duties.
Providing a dignified coffin
fitted with polished coffin
handles, engraved name plate and
silk inside lining.
A quality gown will be provided
or the relatives can provide
clothing if they feel it is
appropriate.
Transfer of the deceased from
place of death to our premises
and chapel of rest at any time
of the day or night.
Care of the deceased prior to
the funeral.
Viewing of the deceased can be
arranged by appointment.
Provision of our purpose built
hearse to convey the deceased to
the crematorium or cemetery of
preference.
